It's been a good Turkey Day. The kids and I have traveled to the southlands and ate the bird with my siblings and their progeny. We're still here, but I should be north tomorrow night. I hope you all have had opportunity to enjoy the day as well.
We had a good Thanksgiving, too. It was so nice to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my husband, children, and good friend. I'm glad that you were able to go home, Slacker. Hope the kids didn't get to bored, but if I know your sister, I'm sure it was anything but. Hope you have a safe trip back.
Well, we made it through one huge dinner, one day at the park, and one family photo with my husband's brother, wife, and kids. There were no migraines, no public marital spats, and no fisticuffs (narrowly achieved this one by not flattening the girl at the JCPenney portrait studio). The only injuries inflicted were on their children, by their children. The rock-throwing ended up hurting no one. And for all of that I'm truly thankful. :)
I'm more or less who I pretend to be in this blog. If you met me in person, you'd not be surprised (disappointed, for sure, but not surprised). I like the moon and the wind and crazy ideas.

Happy Thanksgiving, old friend. Hope your day is as filled with gladness and joy as mine is.
The same to you, Slacker... The same to you...
